Vatanix Technologies Private Limited is hiring a Technician (Passive) to join our IT Hardware & Networking team.

Overview

This is a hands-on field role focused on passive network infrastructure — including structured cabling, rack setup, testing, and site commissioning. Candidates with 10th / 12th / Diploma qualifications and relevant field experience are encouraged to apply. Freshers with the right technical aptitude are also welcome.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

Plan and execute cable laying and routing across project sites as per network design.
Perform termination and labelling of network cables (Cat6, fiber, etc.) to industry standards.
Carry out testing and certification of installed cabling using appropriate tools.
Set up racks, patch panels, and structured cabling enclosures neatly and accurately.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers for smooth execution.
Adhere strictly to safety compliance protocols on all project sites.
Maintain accurate documentation of cable schedules, test reports, and site handover records.
Provide ongoing maintenance and support for passive network infrastructure post-installation.
Assist senior technicians and engineers during site surveys and project commissioning.
Ensure proper housekeeping and organisation of tools and materials on-site.
